The Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation board of directors recently appointed Rachael Cunningham and Brian Hinton to three year terms on the Mattoon Area Community Foundation Advisory Board.
Rachael Cunningham is an attorney with Brainard Law Office and focuses her practice on estate planning matters and real estate transactions. She also serves as City Attorney for the City of Charleston. Rachael graduated with honors from Purdue University, receiving both her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. She then earned her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and served as an editor of the Elder Law Journal. She makes her home in Charleston with her husband, Craig Cunningham, a fellow University of Illinois College of Law graduate and Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors.
Brian Hinton is a senior account manager at RR Donnelley in Mattoon, Illinois. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Greenville College and a Masters in Business Administration from Millikin University. Brian and his wife, Heather, have three children and have lived in Mattoon for 26 years. He is a member of the Mattoon Rotary Club, Immaculate Conception Church and is a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Brian is actively involved with the Mattoon Foundation for Academic Excellence and is a former board member of CUSD #2 Board of Education and Easter Seals East Central Illinois Chapter.
According to Scott Lensink, chair of the regional community foundation and member of the Mattoon Area Community Foundation advisory board, “We are pleased to have Brian and Rachael join the Mattoon Board. The skills and background they bring to the table will be great assets to the local foundation.”
