(NEWTON, Illinois – June 12, 2023) Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Brooke Schafer has been awarded $500 as the recipient of the 2023 Eagle Country Water Works Jasper CEO Scholarship. Brooke plans to attend Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville to pursue a business degree in the 2024-25 school year.
The Eagle Country Water Works Jasper CEO Scholarship was established with Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation in 2015 to permanently support Jasper County CEO students. This scholarship is open to juniors and seniors enrolled in the Jasper County CEO class who plan to major in a business-related field of study such as finance, economics, general business, or marketing.
