(Mattoon, Illinois June 23, 2025) Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation is pleased to announce twelve recipients who have been awarded the 2025 Elgin and Genevieve Daily Farm Scholarship
- Gareth Coffer is a 2025 graduate of Sullivan High School studying agriculture science at Lake Land College.
- Savannah Cole is a 2025 graduate of Mattoon High School studying agriculture science at the University of Illinois.
- Quentin Day is a 2022 graduate of Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School. He is studying agriculture at the University of Illinois.
- Ty Eastin is a 2023 graduate of Mattoon High School studying agriculture science at Lake Land College.
- Anthony Harris is a 2025 graduate of Windsor High School. He plans to study agriculture at Lake Land College.
- Blaine Homann is a 2025 graduate of Charleston High School. He plans to attend the University of Illinois to study agriculture science.
- Katie Honchell 2022 graduate of Sullivan High School pursuing an agriculture degree at the University of Illinois.
- Rhett Lehman is a 2025 graduate of Sullivan High School pursuing agriculture science at Lake Land College.
- Kaylin Nolte is a 2025 graduate of Charleston High School studying agriculture science at Lake Land College.
- Jorja Plummer is a 2025 graduate of Okaw Valley High School studying agriculture science at Lake Land College.
- Addison Stollard is a 2025 graduate of Sullivan High School studying agriculture at the University of Illinois.
- Sarina Voegel is a 2025 graduate of Sullivan High School studying agriculture education at Lake Land College.
Elgin and Genevieve Daily generously gifted their farm to support graduates from Coles and Moultrie County in their pursuit of an agriculture degree from the University of Illinois or Lake Land College. They also have made it possible for Coles or Moultrie graduates attending Millikin University to receive funds to study music.
