Representatives of the Teutopolis site of CEFS/Golden Circle Nutrition Program recently accepted a grant from Teutopolis State Bank.

The CEFS/Golden Circle Nutrition Program site in Teutopolis has been awarded $500 from Teutopolis State Bank Fund for its Meals on Wheels program. The grant will be used to purchase heat sealant trays to offer a more efficient way of transporting meals to home-bound clients. Teutopolis’ Meals on Wheels program serves more than 40 home-bound seniors over the age of 60.

Teutopolis State Bank established a designated fund at the Effingham County Community Foundation in 2000 to support charitable organizations in Teutopolis working in the areas of civic, cultural health, health, education or social services.
