Organizations that promote the visual arts now have the opportunity to apply for a grant from the Bill and Jacquelyn Jordan Anderson Fund for Visual Arts, a fund of Effingham County Community Foundation. The grant is open to charitable organizations serving individuals in Effingham County that provide visual arts programs. This year there is $4,000 available for grants awarded to qualified organizations.
As renowned local artists, Bill and Jacquelyn Jordan Anderson were committed to the promotion of the fine arts and deeply involved in the development of community programs designed to benefit youth in Effingham County. They felt the future of a community depended on the strength of its youth and their ability to express themselves creatively.
