Quinton Packer and Lauren Meyer have been named recipients of $2,000 from the Croft Brothers Scholarship. Quinton is a 2016 graduate of Effingham High School and is pursuing an associate degree at Lake Land College with the intent to transfer to a Christian university to earn a degree Christian ministry. Lauren is also a 2016 graduate of Effingham High School. In the fall, Lauren will attend Lake Land College to study early childhood education.
The Croft Brothers Scholarship was established by Terry Croft, a self-employed Effingham businessman who died in 2010. Mr. Croft established the Effingham County scholarship fund in honor of his late brother, Larry.
