Each year Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation recognizes outstanding philanthropic achievements by individuals, families, and organizations in Southeastern Illinois. Nominations for Richard C. Siemer Outstanding Philanthropist Award are being accepted from July 22 through August 30, 2015.
“We hope individuals will take a moment to nominate those people that demonstrate their passion and commitment for giving back to their community,” said Joedy Hightower, president/CEO of the Community Foundation. Nominations for the Outstanding Philanthropist Award are open to any individual, family or organization in Southeastern Illinois with a proven record of exceptional generosity who demonstrates outstanding civic and charitable responsibility.
CLICK HERE FOR A NOMINATION FORM. Nominations must be received by midnight on Sunday, August 30, 2015. The 2015 Outstanding Philanthropist will be announced at the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation benefit on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Keller Convention Center in Effingham.
Past recipients of the award include: Richard Siemer-2011; Tom Wright-2012; Dr. Richard and Angie Workman-2013; The Lumpkin Family Foundation-2014.
