(ROBINSON, Illinois – January 21, 2025) Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Captain R. Dean and Mary E. Postlewaite Scholarship. The scholarship application is available online at https://southeasternillinois.org/students. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
The Captain R. Dean and Mary E. Postlewaite Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships to graduating seniors residing in Crawford County, Illinois pursuing an agriculture-related degree. Preference is given to students accepted into the University of Illinois College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) in Urbana, as well as graduates from Crawford County currently enrolled in ACES. Previous awardees may apply.
Applicants must complete the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation Common Scholarship application, a general application that determines the applicant’s eligibility for one or more of the Community Foundation’s scholarships. Once submitted, applicants will provide supplemental information for the Postlewaite Scholarship.
Applicants will need a high school or college transcript, ACT or SAT scores (if applicable), and college financial aid information.
